Nursery
WELCOME TO OUR NURSERY
On behalf of our children, staff and governors, welcome to New Scotland Hill, where we have a 26 place nursery on site that enables our children to begin their education in close association with our highly successful Primary School, from the age of three.
We know that making the choice of nursery provision for your child is one of the most important decisions to be made as a parent, and here at New Scotland Hill our aim is to give your child the best possible start to school life by:
- providing a nurturing and supportive environment
- promoting confidence and independence
- developing key personal and academic skills
- celebrating wide-ranging successes so that children enjoy their learning and are prepared for transition into Primary School
Our nursery is led by Mrs Laura Saunders, along with Mrs Kibble and Mrs Webster as nursery support assistants. Mrs Boardman and Mrs Dhariwal provide cover on Mondays. Our Early Years team pride themselves on creating a nurturing environment where our children can take their first key steps as learners.
We are able to offer up to offer up to 30 hours a week, the first 15 being the free universal entitlement, and the other 15 being the extended entitlement if you are working. We offer flexible provision through either morning sessions (9am – 12pm), afternoon sessions (12pm – 3pm) or all-day sessions (9am – 3 pm), according to the spaces we have available.
To discuss admissions to our nursery, please contact the school office on 01344 772184 or email: secretary@nshprimary.co.uk
It is our great privilege to welcome your child into our nursery and we look forward to welcoming you to visit to see our thriving setting in action.
